About Gordon Greenley

Gordon Greenley began playing clarinet at age 12.  After switching to saxophone a year later, he began private instruction and shortly thereafter, began playing professional jazz and theater gigs.  Gordon performed throughout high school in Northern California and while in college in Southern California.  As a student in Los Angeles, Gordon found many opportunities to study and perform with many world-renowned musicians.  Gordon returned to Northern California and continued gigging around the Sacramento area until 2005 when he began playing on cruise ships.

After performing on cruise ships for both Holland America Line, and later, Princess Cruises, Gordon returned to the Rogue Valley in 2010, married and completed a Bachelor of Science in Music and a Master of Music in Woodwind Performance. Gordon also began freelancing around Southern Oregon with various acts and theater companies, such as The Camelot Theatre Company and Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Gordon has appeared with Bobby Shew, Craig Chaquico, Frank Emilio Flynn, Gary Foster, Jack Johnson, Jeff Pevar, Jim Belushi, Kirby Shaw, Larry Harlow, Lorna Luft, Maceo Parker, Ronnie Cuber, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Wayne Bergeron and others.
